You Are in Your NOW!

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
He recognized that times and seasons are in God's hands, and not man's hand, and that God is the One who sets things in order; the sun and the moon, and times and seasons for specific reasons with purpose.

"And the Lord said: 'I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.  So, I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey… Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.  Come NOW, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt." Exodus 3:7-10

We are in a new time and a new season.  The times are not the same; the culture has changed, and the way people do things has changed. In 1 Chronicles 12:32, the Bible says that the sons of Issachar understood the times and the seasons they were in and knew what to do.  Even Daniel gave thanks to God and said "…You change the times and seasons."  (Daniel 2:20-21)   He recognized that times and seasons are in God's hands, and not man's hand, and that God is the One who sets things in order; the sun and the moon, and times and seasons for specific reasons with purpose.

When God speaks of the NOW, he is referring to the present time and moment.  He is referring to a spiritual time for every promise to be fulfilled.  When He speaks of you being in your now, don't look for tomorrow or next year.  Moses had to wait for his time to be able to bring the people out of Egypt.  He had been in Pharaoh's house for years, but God already knew the time and the season when His deliverance for His people would take place.  He already has your life planned out too.

When you are in your now, you must act now; you have to go now; you have to speak now, you have to do now; not next week.  When God is speaking to you about your now, don't allow fear to delay the process like the generation who missed their inheritance.  Don't miss your season when He opens the door; understand the times and the seasons you are in.  Don't allow the enemy to just walk over you.  He has already given you power and authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the works of the enemy. (Luke 10:19)   Don't just settle for where you are. When we don't step out when He tells us to, we are settling.  We settle for being something we're not.  But everything changes when you step into your now.  Seize the moment now.  You are more than a conqueror; you have a greater anointing on you now than last week.  You are no longer just holding on; you are now making things happen and calling things that are not as though they were.  When you are in your now, no one can defeat you because you are in your grove; your rhythm.  No devil can touch you, and all the promises of God are coming to pass.  If Moses had not obeyed when God called him into his now, he would have missed it.  We can't worry about what we don't have, what our bank accounts look like, who's with us or not.  Just get up and step out now.  If you do, you will have what we need, just keep walking.  Yes, the devil will try to rise up and turn up the heat, but regardless of how bold he speaks or how he tries to intimidate you, just stay in your now; stay with your time and season.  It may get a little rough at times, but if you are in your now, your season, and your time, no matter how hard it looks you can handle it.

Because Moses was in his now he was able to lead the children of God out of their bondage to Egypt for over 400 years, and he broke the back of the most powerful kingdom in the world.  Don't miss your season.  Some times and seasons don't ever come back.  When you are in your now, it is not just to bless you, but to bless the thousands.  Walk in your now, not yesterday.  What was good for yesterday may not be good for today.  Following Moses' death, Joshua stepped into his now.  God then says to Joshua, "Moses my servant is dead, come NOW, rise up take these people into the promised land." (Joshua 1:2)

God is calling his church into their now.  He is saying, come now, get up and start doing what I called you to do.  God said to Joshua, "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you."  (Joshua 1:5) You are in your now, your place, your zone.  He knows what you've been through, He knows the pain, lack, and suffering you've endured.  But we can't afford to live in the past.  Doors are opening wide and you shall not know defeat.   What was done is done.  If you get up, He will get up with you.  If you go, He will go with you.  If you make one step, He will walk with you.  He just needs you to get in your now, the place He's called you.  Forget about those who always remind you of your past to keep you condemned.  He's washed all your sins away. Claim your NOW right now at this present time and moment.  Be confident and know what to do with this time and season.  You will not be defeated!
