It's Just a Process

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
Determine in your heart right now that you will keep your joy, your peace, your sanity, your family, your marriage!

Trials – no one likes them, but all of us must go through them.  The Bible teaches that there is a time and season for every purpose under the heavens. The weariness of waiting out the process for your breakthrough can sometimes be frustrating, but I encourage you to take a deep breath and hold on just a little while longer.  Don't allow your emotions (hurt, pain, rejection, etc.) to overwhelm you.  The Bible says that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.  In fact, God can give you peace and joy right in the middle of your storm if you will allow Him to.

Decide today that you will make it through this trial. But remember, our fights are never against people.  We battle on our knees.  We love those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who despitefully use us.  Never allow your hearts to harden or become bitter in your trial seasons. Determine in your heart right now that you will keep your joy, your peace, your sanity, your family, your marriage!  You are stronger than you realize, and although it doesn't feel very good at the time, our trails are preparing us for something greater; something better.  So, I encourage you today to hope in God!  He wants to turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.  Go ahead and lift your head, dry your eyes, square your shoulders, and speak to your circumstances.  Remember, it's just a process, and God will see you through it.
