It's Just a Process; Hope in God!

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
During challenging times, remember that your battles are never against people (see Ephesians 6:12), so always fight on your knees in prayer to your faithful God.

Trials – no one likes them, but all of us must go through them.  The weariness of waiting out the process for your breakthrough however can sometimes be frustrating, but I encourage you to take a deep breath and hold on just a little while longer.  The Bible teaches that there is a time and season for every activity under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT), but don't allow your pain and emotions to overwhelm you.  The Bible also says that weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5).  In fact, God can give you peace and joy right in the middle of your storms if you will allow Him to.

During challenging times, remember that your battles are never against people (see Ephesians 6:12), so always fight on your knees in prayer to your faithful God.  God has instructed us to love those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who hurt us (Luke 6:27-28).  Never allow your heart to harden or become bitter in your trial seasons. Determine in your heart right now that you will keep your joy, your peace, your sanity, your family, and your marriage!  You are stronger than you realize, and although it may not feel very good now, your trails are preparing you for something greater; something better.

So, I encourage you today to hope in God! He wants to turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy.  Go ahead and lift your head, dry your eyes, square your shoulders, and speak to your circumstances.  Go ahead and decide today that you will make it through these trials.  Remember, it's just a process, and God will see you through it.
