There is Hope

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
Jesus is the answer to your hopelessness, and He is only a prayer away.

Dear friend, I would like to take a moment to encourage you today.  You may be disheartened, discouraged, lonely, angry, or even brokenhearted. You may be facing situations at this very moment that seem hopeless, and impossible to overcome.  But no matter what challenges you are faced with today, I want to bring to you the message of hope that "God Loves You!" and there is absolutely nothing that will ever change His love for you.  In fact, He loves you more than you will ever know, and wants to turn your hopeless situations into tangible victories.  No matter what things look like right now, or how difficult things may seem at this very moment, there is hope.

The Bible says that God loved the world so much that He gave us Jesus, so that we could have abundant life through Him.  Jesus is the answer to your hopelessness, and He is only a prayer away.  "Seek after Him while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near" (Isaiah 55:6)  He is closer to you than you realize.  So, instead of giving up or throwing in the towel, call on Him today.  He's always listening and He's always ready to step into your situations; He just needs your permission.  He can turn your mourning into dancing and clothed you with gladness. He can give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (see Psalms 30:11; Isaiah 61:8).  "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)  Don't delay; call on Him today… There is hope.
