Fear is Your Enemy

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
It's time to stand strong and move forward. Your God has great plans for you and your family.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you.  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”  Isaiah 41:10

If you are walking in fear today, it’s not from God.  God has given us power over fear; therefore, fear should have no place in you.  Be not afraid; speak the Word of Almighty God by saying what He has said.  If you have need of something right now, begin to speak it forth.  When darkness covered the face of the earth, God spoke ‘let there be light’ and it was so.  Are you speaking what God has spoken about your life, marriage and situations, or are you allowing fear to cripple you in your thinking and confessions?  He said, “I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

It is time to allow faith to rise in you and declare greatness in your life and circumstances.  Faith is what strengthens our spirits to live above what we see and how we feel. Fear is an enemy and should be dealt with.  Don’t be afraid to just believe God at His Word.  Call on Him.  He wants you to THINK BIG, and DREAM BIG.  Be not afraid child of God.  Don’t worry about the social, political and global problems going on around us; you are the head and not the tail.   When everything seems hopeless, make your confession of who you are in God.  Do not back down or be afraid any more.  God is proving your strength and character, and He is with you through everything you face.  Remember, “…the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:3-4) Do not allow fear to grip you.  Stand strong and look fear in the face and say, “You have no power over me!”  Stop speaking lack and hopelessness, and stand strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10) for the God you serve will never leave or forsake you, and He is stronger and greater than your storms.

Start today speaking the Word of God to your storms.  When what you see seems not so, speak it again.  Keep speaking the Word and don’t be afraid.  It may look dark right now, but morning is coming.  Keep loving, keep giving, keep praying, keep forgiving, and keep believing.   No matter what it looks like, don’t stop or change your confessions.  Keep saying you are blessed.  Keep saying you are healed.  “Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.  Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.”  Ephesians 6:13 NLT

It’s time to stand strong and move forward. Your God has great plans for you and your family.  Take a bold stance against the spirit of fear.  It is an enemy, and must be dealt with today!  “Now therefore, stand and see this great thing which the Lord will do before your eyes…” 1 Samuel 12:16
