God With Us

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
Wicked men and women have joined forces with spiritual wickedness in high places to persecute the Lord's church and stop us from contending for the faith that has been delivered to us.

In the past years, up until now, we have witnessed a great increase of demonic and ungodly activities in the earth. The battle between good and evil has escalated to new levels in the arena of economics, health, family, religion, government, culture and education. We are fighting on every front so that righteousness, justice, and truth can be upheld in the land, so that the Kingdom of God can advance, and people can live a victorious and prosperous life in Christ Jesus while serving the Kingdom of God with all their hearts and evangelizing the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It may seem at this present moment that the battle is tilted to the side of injustice, unrighteousness, immorality, perversion, hypocrisy, deception, ungodliness, murder, poverty, spiritual wickedness and lawlessness. The media is sounding its victories over the airwaves, bringing in a darkness that blinds the minds of people and deceiving them to believe that right is wrong and wrong is right.

While as believers are being ridiculed and maliciously attacked by every ungodly organization whose total objective is to silence us and to remove truth, the Christian values and the All-Mighty God from society and our land. Wicked men and women have joined forces with spiritual wickedness in high places to persecute the Lord's church and stop us from contending for the faith that has been delivered to us.

We all have encountered hell's unleashed fury in our lives in one way or another. You, or someone you love, may have been attacked with cancer, HIV, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, heart problems, sickle cell, or any other sickness or diseases.

A love one of yours has died, a divorce or separation has come in your life, a child incarcerated, you have been laid off from your job, unexpected bills, the stress of being a single mother or father, strong holds in your life that keep you from your purpose and destiny. Or maybe you are a victim of Satan's traps that cause you to fall into immorality that keeps you bound with guilt and depression, strangling the very faith in you to keep you from repenting, keeping your flesh intoxicated with lustful desires that only destroy your relationship with God and your love ones.

Yes, the whole Church is under attack.

We have been invaded by false teachers and prophets that have deceived many to turn from the sound doctrine of the Bible, by denouncing the absoluteness of God's Word.

Our pulpits are full of unrighteous leaders who live an immoral lifestyle with no accountability to anyone. Good pastors are being Shunned by their congregation, treated with no respect, made common in the eyes of those they serve. Many good pastors have been wounded by the congregations they serve, denied honor and appreciation for the sacrifices they make.

As a believer we are faced with adversity and challenges in life, things are not always a bed of roses, there are difficulties, disappointments, sufferings, pain, hardship, broken hearts, and unhappiness. The weight of the world seems to crush in on you and life takes a drastic turn leaving you confused and full of questions.

Three of the most repeated questions are:

Why is this happening to me?

What did I do to deserve this?

Lord, where are you?

Then in your most vulnerable moment, Satan, the Devil, that Old Serpent, whispers to your mind one of the most unthinkable and unimaginable thoughts. Why don't you just quit, give up, are you not tired? All these years you have been serving God and look what has happened to you. You were better off before you got saved. God does not care about you, this way of life is not for you, things are not going to get better, and it is over just quit.

But the apostle Paul reminds us that, 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (KJV)

Now, more than ever, we need to realize and believe with all of our being that GOD IS WITH US. He will never leave us nor forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5 NKJV)

His promise is an everlasting promise that stands no matter what the enemy tries. So, get up, dust yourself off, and get back in the fight because GOD IS WITH US.
