God's Amazing Love

Bishop Clarence Williams •
No matter how you see yourself, or how difficult things may be in your life right now, just remember God's amazing love.

It is truly amazing how much God loves us!  We are truly blessed!  So often God is viewed as a dictator or controlling being who puts demands on people; but that is so far from the truth of who God really is.  God is LOVE!  His very nature is love, and He created everything in love.  In fact, His love is what created you and me.

My dear friends, please grasp that truth -- that GOD IS LOVE.  So then, when we walk in love, we reflect God's true character.  "Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous, or boastful, or proud, or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

No matter how you see yourself, or how difficult things may be in your life right now, just remember God's amazing love. At this very moment you may feel like you are at the end of your rope, and that life is not worth living.  You may feel all alone and deeply hurt on the inside, or struggle to recover from a broken marriage, or financial pressures that have built up.  Whatever your situation, I want to encourage you today by letting you know that there is a loving God who loves you so much that He gave you His Son Jesus. (John 3:16) There is nothing you or I could ever do to separate us from God's love. (Romans 8:38) He is waiting to put His arms around you because He cares for you and is concerned about every area of your life.  So, do not give up, and do not give in under the pressure.  There is hope, and that hope is in God!

Do you know that Jesus' purpose for coming to earth was to give us abundant life?  That is what the Bible says in John 10:10. He wants us to have a rich and satisfying life, full of joy, peace, and happiness.  Even if you feel like your sins or your past are too dark, or too bad, there is still hope.  The deception from the devil is that it is too late for you, but Jesus has said, "… those the Father has given Me will come to Me, and I will never reject them." (John 6:37 NLT)

Trust me when I say that the power of God's love is much stronger than the power of darkness, hurt, or rejection you may feel right now.  My friend, you cannot do it alone; you need His help.  He can change your life around and give you a new beginning.  You have tried everything else, why not try God?  He is love, and true love is unconditional.  He is a loving and forgiving God and will not disappoint you.  The Bible says in John 3:18, "There is no judgement against anyone who believes in Him.  But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God's one and only Son."

Please experience God's amazing love today.  He is always just a prayer away.  Take a moment and call on Him now.  I promise you; He will be listening.
