Where Are The Calebs?

Bishop Clarence Williams • General
Where are the Calebs? Where is that spirit that goes against the grain?

"Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, 'Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.' But the men who had gone up with him said, 'We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.'" Numbers 13:30-31 (NKJV)

Dear friend, God wants you to have all your inheritance and He wants you to have it right now. It is time to stop settling and start possessing your promises.  Take your eyes off the giants in your life, and put your eyes on God.  If you want your inheritance you must have a different spirit about you, like Caleb. You must change your attitude and how you think. If you want what God has promised you, you cannot walk around talking doubt and defeat, regardless of how things look.  Stop going with other's opinions and stand on the Word of God.  Not everyone is going to be optimistic and have a positive attitude about your circumstances. When you start talking faith, people may even begin to ostracize you. But sometimes you will need to separate yourself from the crowd and do as Caleb did.  Sometimes you will have to make bold statements about your God and not care about what others say or think.

It is time to fix your eyes on God. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 1:3 that our God has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. The scripture also says in Galatians 3:29, "And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you."  It is time for us to stop settling for just a little raindrop, for just a little healing, for just a little raise, for just a little finance, for just a little bit of happiness. God said in John 10:10 (NLT), "°My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."

Where are the Calebs? Where is that spirit that goes against the grain? Where is that spirit that goes against the opinions of men? If God said it, you must be able to stand amid opposition and speak it. Caleb had to go through the wilderness with those who walked in unbelief, but his eyes remained on the promises that God had made, and he received what had been promised to him. "But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it." Numbers 14:24 (NKJV)

Are you a Caleb? Are you willing to stand on the promises of God regardless of what is going on around you?  As Caleb said, so should we, "We are well able!  Let us go up at once and possess our inheritance!"

Take your inheritance; you are well able!
