God wants us to be empowered Spirit, Soul, and Body. He wants us to always be armed and prepared for battle. If you walk with God, He will give you the victory in every area of your life, and you and your family will be tremendously blessed. God gave me a scripture a long time ago that is still blessing me today: "Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!" Deuteronomy 5:29. When God begins to reveal things to you, it is time to get up and fight! In the middle of war, it shouldn't be business as usual. In spiritual warfare, there is a battle between the Kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4-6) There is a spiritual realm that is very, very real. If we understand that, we can wake up and start dealing with situations differently.
Everything starts in the spirit realm. The battle we are in involves an intense wrestle and struggle, which is why we must get up every day ready to fight. There are spirits that cause chaos in our everyday lives. Remember, Satan is here to steal our joy and peace, and make our lives miserable. The Bible says he is here to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). In other words, his sole purpose is to destroy your life. As a matter of fact, he is the one behind everything wrong in the earth.
We must pray without ceasing; be consistent and persistent in prayer. Our weapons of warfare are mighty! We need to pray! "Ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7) When the people of God pray, we release the angelic hosts to work on our behalf. In war, you must dominate the airways in order to have victory on the ground. When we pray here on earth we connect with Heaven, and then the entire atmosphere changes. When we don't pray, the enemy rules – even in our homes. Angels can't help us if we don't release them to help us. We release them through our prayers. So, instead of strengthening the enemy's territory by getting upset and angry, and speaking the wrong things, decree and declare victory in your homes and on your jobs by releasing the Word of God through prayer. That's where the battle is won -- through prayer. It's not over until you win. It's time to stop arguing, complaining, and fighting with one another and change the world. It's time to go to war for your family, your city, your nation, etc. It's a spiritual battle, so fight on your knees through prayer!
