Prayer of Protection

Bishop Clarence Williams Jr

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. (Psalm 91:1–3)

PRAYER OF PROTECTION

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your goodness and grace toward me. Thank You, Lord, for Your divine protection over my life. I declare that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Thank You, God, for being my refuge and safety. I declare that I am covered under the shadow of Your wings and my trust is in Your power and might. I am delivered from every snare of the wicked one and any and all pestilence, virus, disease, infection, or outbreak, in Jesus' name. I declare that no evil (in any form) can come near my dwelling or my family, in Jesus' name. Sickness, disease, and infirmity have no place in my life. Lord, I thank You for dispatching Your angels of protection to go before me and keep me in all of Your ways. I am protected from catastrophe, chaos, accidents, calamity, peril, danger, harm, and destruction in the name of Jesus Christ. I will dwell in peace and safety today, and every day, of my life. A thousand shall fall by my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but destruction will not come near me. I am not afraid of any demonic activity or assignment from the devil, because greater is He who lives in me than he that lives in the world. (See 1 John 4:4.) I am surrounded with a host of warring angels that hearken to the voice of God's Word and who are ready to move at my beckoning call. In Jesus' name, amen.

During these turbulent times we want you to know that we are making every effort to ensure that our members and staff are cared for. The health and safety of everyone is important to Bishop Clarence and Pastor Melony along with the entire LWIM staff and leadership. In light of current events surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak we are taking steps to safeguard each and every one while still focusing on our primary mission of "Restoring Kingdom Living and Making Disciples". To keep you informed, we are providing information and updates as they become available.

First, be encouraged that Jesus Christ is Lord and God is in control.  We do not and will not respond to this situation out of fear, but we do believe that we must use wisdom in choosing courses of action during this time (2 Tim 1:7). In order to comply with certain federal, state, and local mandates we will be adjusting some of our operating procedures to better serve God's people. Secondly, this is an opportune time for the Children of God to let the world know that we as believers stand ready to serve and support those in need.

As a ministry we are taking certain steps to ensure the health and safety of our members. Our staff and volunteers are working diligently to provide a safe environment for our members. This includes increased sanitizing and disinfecting of offices, common areas, sanctuaries, etc. We are providing hand sanitizers and other hygiene items throughout the building. Even with added safeguards we need your help. Below are some safeguards that the CDC recommends all people to use:

Prevention is still the best defense against COVID-19.

There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid spreading the virus and to avoid being exposed to the virus. The virus is thought to spread between people who are within about 6 feet of each other for at least 10 minutes through droplets from coughing and sneezing.

To reduce risk, everyone should:

• Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

• Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Stay home if you are sick.

• Cover coughs and sneezes.

• Clean and disinfect surfaces daily.
