Prayer for the October 2021 Midnight Prayer and Praise

Father, we come boldly before Your throne of grace today, asking for Your blessing, grace, direction, and presence upon this upcoming Midnight Prayer and Praise. We ask for wisdom and divine direction, guidance, and instructions as we go forth in the planning, organization, and implementation of what we have been instructed to do. We trust not in our own knowledge and wisdom, but our eyes are on You Lord. We also trust that the Holy Spirit will give us direction on how things should flow as we pray and seek His direction and leadership.

Thank You Father for giving us clear and distinct directives on how to proceed with this special event; and for divinely ordering our steps concerning it. Your Word says that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives it to all men liberally and does not hold back. We therefore ask for wisdom concerning the plans, the course, the goal, and the people you have chosen to assist in carrying out this plan, and we pray that you would cause all those involved in this assignment to be open-minded, receptive, and willing to do what it takes to bring this plan to fruition.

The people shall have a mind to work, and shall abound in love, unity, diligence, commitment, and integrity. May You direct and order every thought aright, and may your people respond in love, faith, and deed. May every heart be excited and in great expectation and anticipation of a powerful move of Your Spirit as we close out this month of war in high celebration.

By the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, we bind the spirits of darkness that would attempt to hinder or frustrate the plans as we move forward. We cast down every spirit of conflict and offense, and we pull down every stronghold of fear and apprehension. We take authority over all anxieties, worries, and cares, and we cancel every assignment of the evil one against the plans.

We pray for direction and insight for all who will help to facilitate this special night of celebration, and we cast all cares upon You. We proclaim that no weapon that forms against these plans will be able to prosper, and any tongue that rises against it in judgment will be condemned. All that we set out to accomplish shall be done, in the name of Jesus.

Now search us O God, and know our hearts; try us and know our thoughts. For our thoughts are not Your thoughts; neither are our ways Your ways. For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your thoughts higher than our thoughts, and Your ways higher than our ways. Let us therefore not lean to our own understanding but acknowledge You in all our ways concerning this event from start to finish that You may direct our paths. As we commit our works unto the Lord, so shall our thoughts be established, for You will cause our thoughts to agree with Your will.

Now Father, we stand in faith on Your Word that You can keep and bring to pass the things that we commit unto You. The October 2021 Midnight Prayer and Praise gathering will be a high celebration of Your goodness, love, and faithfulness to Your people. May You alone be glorified in our midst as we turn the tide on the enemy through prayer, praise, and worship to our God.
